Grief

Grief is a reaction that presents in various forms following a death or loss. Normal grief can involve shock, guilt, sadness, anxiety, yearning, and somatic symptoms such as chest tightness and low energy. While duration of grief widely varies from person to person, symptoms can last up to 6 months. If symptoms last longer than 6 months, professional help may be necessary.
