Resources for Youth
Teenage years can be extremely stressful due to pressure stemming various sources such as academics, social life, puberty and more. During these difficult times, mindfulness is a coping mechanism that is extremely helpful in controlling the turbulence that comes with being a teenager. Backed by scientific research, mindfulness involves paying attention to our thoughts in a particular way, without judgement. Meditation, originating over 5,000 years ago in India, is the popular form of mindfulness.
