Resources for Youth
Puberty can be a confusing and embarrassing experience for adolescents. Between the ages of 8 and 18, adolescents rapidly transition into adulthood during which sex organs develop and the body becomes more capable to reproduce. Among the changes, increases in height, weight gain, body hair, and acne are common physical symptoms of puberty. Furthermore, adolescents may experience social and behavioral changes as well.
